Season of Change, Season of Growth

The past few weeks have been quite the whirlwind for all of us here at Visual. Like many of you, we’ve been navigating the back-to-school rush, mixed with life’s usual surprises—dealing with everything from separated shoulders and sick kids to broken dryers, birthday celebrations, and the juggling act of soccer, music, basketball, and martial arts. We know many of you can relate to these life transitions, as we all move through different stages of family and work.

At Visual, we’ve been in a constant state of transition as well. From founding our company during the chaos of Covid, to building everything from scratch, we’ve

faced many of the same growing pains and challenges you have in your own lives. We started with just an idea, slowly putting the necessary pieces in place, and from there, step by step, we’ve been growing our customer base, spreading the word, and refining our processes. It hasn’t been easy, and it’s taken both mental stamina and personal sacrifices to get us to where we are today.

The last 3+ years have been nothing short of intense. Frank and I left our corporate architecture jobs under less-than-ideal circumstances during the pandemic and founded Visual with big ambitions. We wanted to change the way things were done in residential design and construction, but we quickly learned that this world operates at a very different pace than what we were used to.

That slower pace has been one of our biggest hurdles, and unfortunately, it has meant that we’ve fallen short of many of our customers’ expectations when it comes to timelines. For that, we sincerely apologize. We recognize the frustration this has caused and want you to know that we’ve been working hard to improve.

Although progress has felt slow, we are incredibly proud of the talented design team we’ve built. They’re creating beautiful projects that will become the backdrop for many family memories for years to come. As we continue to streamline our processes we have grown our team from 3 to 6 people, we are committed to not only delivering top-tier design services but also doing so more efficiently moving forward.

We are excited about what the rest of the year holds, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to each of you who has trusted us with the most important place in your life, HOME.
